Make their space comfortable

Whenever you are outside of the house with your dog, then you will want them to be as comfortable as possible.  Be sure to bring along their dog bed, and whatever blankets you use for them.  This will help them to be very comfortable in their own space.  You may also want to take some nessasary precattions to ensure that they are comfortable and their bedding is not ruined by bad weather.  When you pack away the dog bed to transport it to the campsite, make sure that  it is covered in plastic and sealed tightly.

No Food in the Tent

Most campgrounds have clear signs posted all over the campground letting you know not to keep food in your tent.  This would include any dog treats that you bring along for your dog, as well as their dog food.  Make sure that you feed your dog in the same area and at the same time when everyone else eat’s.  When you are done feeding your dog, pack the food away in an air tight container.

Bring a Doggy First Aid Kit

Whenever you plan to take your dog camping plan to bring along a first aid kit.  You can find first aid kit’s for your pet at just about any pet store, or you can put together one yourself.
